Carl Honoré (born 29 December 1967) is a Canadian journalist and author, best known for his international bestseller In Praise of Slow (2004), which examines society’s relationship with time and the impact of speed, and highlights the global Slow Movement. He began his journalism career in 1991 and has written for leading publications in Europe and North America. This issue presents a selection of his quotes.
