From People Stayed Home to What is the Corona/ Covid-19 Virus Really Teaching us?

Dear Friends,
Dr.B.M.Hegde (born 18 August 1938) is a cardiologist, professional educator and author. He is the former Vice Chancellor of Manipal University. He has authored several books on medical practice and ethics. He is also the Editor in Chief of the medical journal – The Science of Healing Outcomes. He was awarded the Dr. B. C. Roy Award in 1999. In 2010, he was honoured with the Padma Bhushan, one of India’s highest civilian awards. He is associated with a number of organisations and visiting Emeritus, International Advisor to the Royal College of Physicians London. He is a strong advocate of holistic approach to health and believes in alternate therapies. In this month, we have given some of his quotable quotes.

The entire world is in the grip of pandemic Covind-19 and many nations, including India declaring total lockdown. Catherine (Kitty) O’Meara of Madison, Wisconsin in March 2020 wrote a meaningful poem – “And People Stayed Home” which gives directions to all of us at this critical juncture.
